Lodestar Capital Partners Pty Limited is an independent investment management company founded in 2005 by John Morgan, Susie Fenton and Dennis Rope.

They have an average 24 years experience in funds management and financial markets.

Lodestar holds an Australian Financial Services License and is based in Sydney.

In January 2006 Lodestar launched the Lodestar Australian Absolute Return Fund for wholesale and professional investors.

In June 2007 Lodestar announced an alliance with nabInvest Capital Partners, a division of The National Australia Bank Ltd, for the distribution of the Antares Lodestar Absolute Return Trust - Australian Shares to retail investors.

On September 16, 2009 Lodestar announced that nabInvest has acquired 33% of the company which further endorses the confidence that Lodestar has in its strategic alliance with nabInvest.

The founders have a substantial portion of their wealth invested in the Funds ensuring the Manager's interests are aligned with the Fund's other investors.

The investment team focus solely on managing their clients' money.

As equity owners, the Lodestar team only get rewarded if their business is successful. Success can only be achieved by consistently delivering investors superior performance.

As such Lodestar has a clear goal of producing superior returns as against growing funds under management.

The Funds will be closed to new investors if the manager is of the opinion that investor returns will be compromised by new fund inflows.
